National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad, was founded in 1995. While its intial days began at Chenetha Bhavan, Nampally, Hyderabad, the new five-acre campus was inaugurated in May, 1999, at Madhapur. NIFT was set up under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and has emerged as a premier design and fashion institute in the country.
