Let’s cover
the basics, the admission process will be based on merit and the best of four marks obtained by students in class 12,
which will be used as the basis for the cut-off list. This year all the
colleges under DU (https://admission.uod.ac.in/?UG-Admission#),
will have only one admission form, which is the
“Registration-cum-Application" form.
Documents needed
for admission-2021(according to https://www.duupdates.in/list-of-documents-required-for-the-admission-at-du-for-ug-courses-du-admission/):
- Scanned passport size photograph of the applicant
- Scanned signature of the applicant
- Self-attested class 10 certificate/mark sheet containing date of birth
- Self-attested class 12 mark sheet
- Class 12th provisional certificate/ original certificate
- Character certificate from the institution last attended
- Transfer certificate as well as Migration certificate from school/college
- SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM Certificate
- OBC certificate in the name of the applicant issued on or after March 31
- EWS Certificate issued by SDM certifying the applicant can claim reservation under this category, dated March 31, 2019 or later
- Self-attested copies of sports and/or ECA certificate.
- Students who did not appear in compulsory English are required to submit a certificate that they have passed English as a second language in senior secondary hat is up to Class 10th
- Scanned copy of online registration form of university with university centralized registration number.
In case the
mark sheet has not been issued by the Board, a self-attested copy of the mark
sheet downloaded from the respective Board’s website should be uploaded).

Although there
would be a single application form for UG admission, but if the applicant wishes
to register for more than one course they would have to pay separate
registration fee.
Even though
a bulk of DU admission courses are merit-based however, for some courses, the
varsity will conduct the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) 2021 that will
be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For Bachelor in
Physiotherapy, Bachelor in Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Prosthetics and
Orthotics, and Masters of Physiotherapy, the admissions will be through DUET
2021. The exam will be held online. The dates of the entrance exams are yet to
be updated on the website.
The first cut-off
list is expected by the first week of September and Delhi University
anticipated to start the new academic session from October 1, but in case the
process takes time, the administration will start it latest by October 18, 2021.
